After Pakistan began their T20 World Cup campaign in the worst possible manner against USA, giving us the first upset of the tournament this year. However, former Indian cricketer Aditya Tare feels that Team India are going into the blockbuster clash against their arch rivals at the wrong time in the tournament.

Pakistan Are More Dangerous When Coming From A Loss

Tare feels that Pakistan are at their strongest when coming off a defeat in any kind of tournament. History has given us many memorable IND vs PAK matches so far which proves that the tie will definitely be a thrilling one.

“Honestly, it doesn’t really matter how well or how badly IND or PAK does before this game. All that matters is ‘the’ India-Pakistan game. Irrespective of the form, irrespective of the venue, when these two teams clash, I mean some players just love it, and some players crumble under pressure. But, for us as cricket fans and Indian fans, it’s going to be a great game. When Pakistan are coming after a loss, it’s more dangerous. It’s better when we play against Pakistan when they are winning and in good form. They are most dangerous, especially after a loss,” Aditya Tare told Star Sports on Saturday.

Led by skipper Babar Azam, the team received a lot of criticism after their humiliating super over defeat against co-hosts USA after the Men in Green were  beaten in all three categories of the game. With former Pakistan players slamming the individual performances including that of Babar Azam, it will be interesting to see how the players bounce back in all-important clash against Team India with regards to their Super 8 qualification in the T20 World Cup as well.
