Sarfaraz Khan made an immediate impact during his debut Test series. He showcased impressive performances that caught the attention of cricket enthusiasts. Despite waiting longer than some of his peers for his maiden Test cap, the 26-year-old displayed fearless cricket, registering three consecutive fifties in India’s notable 4-1 victory over England.
When asked about his increased follower count before and after his Test debut took place, Sarfaraz Khan said “For the last 4 years, it was 600-700 followers on Instagram. Suddenly, after playing for India, it has become 1.5 million. It’s good.”
He was one of the five debutants who represented India in this historic Test series, which was led by captain Rohit Sharma.
