"I am very happy that our efforts have been rewarded. This victory is for Morocco and the Arab people and is the result of our efforts," said Jiraidi.
South Korea are currently losing both games and will be eliminated if Germany loses to Colombia on Sunday. Morocco lost 6-0 to Germany in their first Group H match, but fared much better against South Korea.

After losing 6-0 to Germany in their opening match, Morocco's victory temporarily leveled them on three points with Germany and Colombia, but the two sides will face each other in Sydney later on Sunday.

Morocco are the first Arab nation to win a match at the Women's World Cup and remain in contention for the last 16. South Korea was almost eliminated after their second loss in the tournament.
