This news broke after Messi started the whole match in Inter Miami’s MLS game against Atlanta United during which he struck the first goal of the match. Messi performed an MRI on Monday after returning from his three-game load management period to cheque his adductor area sensitivity. The availability of the player for future matches will be determined by his recovery process from treatment according to Inter Miami’s statement.

Inter Miami head coach Javier Mascherano explained Lionel Messi was not suffering from injury before the start of this season but the team was monitoring his training to avoid problems.
