New Delhi: Spanish football club Barcelona’s pursuit of 27th LA LIGA tittle boosted after they registered 2-1 win against arch rival Real Madrid on Sunday at Camp Nou. After this gigantic win in the El Clasico clash, Barcelona is at the top of the table with 12 points in 12 matches.

First half of the game

In the opening 10 minutes of the match was extremely chaotic for Barcelona as Real Madrid got their first shot on target after just 45 seconds. Real Madrid netted the accidental opening goal as Vinicius Jr’s attempted cross inside the box hit Ronald Araujo’s head and went into the net for an own goal.

Sergi Roberto strike for Barca

Barca replied on the half-time with neat finish by Sergi Roberto from close range. After the break, Barca kept pushing towards the winning line and finally got their break in added time when Alejandro Balde raced down the left channel and crossed to Franck Kessie who unleashed an unstoppable first touch strike to give Barca the win.

Added time drama

Came as a substitute Franck Kessie put the killer blow late in added time after 2nd half of the game. Final whistle came shortly after, and Barca are officially the title favorites after this victory.
