At 33 minutes into the game, Gnabry sent a brilliant long ball to Musiala, who then set up the goal for Raphael Guerreiro. After just five minutes, Michael Olise found the maiden goal in his Champions League debut by converting a header from a perfect ball assisted by Joshua Kimmich.
The club’s manager made some crucial changes in the first half. He substituted Manuel Neuer with Sven Ulreich. The substitution turned out to be a disaster, conceding two goals in just five minutes.
Bayern gained momentum again and controlled the flow of the game. Harry Kane scored 3 goals in the second half of the game. Followed by the goals of the second-half substitutes Leroy Sane and Goretzka making it 9 to the tally.
Olise became the second French player after Thierry Henry in 1997 to score two goals in a debut in Champions League.
