The India national cricket team is currently in Australia participating in the five-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 series against Australia. The second match of the contest will be played at the Adelaide Oval ground in Adelaide from December 6. The Indian team currently lead the series by a margin of 1-0 and will look forward on extending the lead. On the other hand, the Aussies will be under a lot pressure as they haven’t won a single Test series at home after losing the first match since 1969. The Indian team has been one of the best Test sides whenever it has come to playing in Australia in the past five years.

Talking about the IND vs AUS 2nd Test, both India and Australia are pretty much favourites to win the match. The Indian team has played some competitive cricket at the Adelaide Oval in the past five years, however, the previous time they played at the venue, the match was a nightmare. The Indian team will look forward to come out from the bitter memories and continue the winning momentum they have gained after winning the first Test match. On the other hand, Australia are also dealing with a lot of issues. Firstly, the rumoured rift between the players and Josh Hazlewood’s sudden exclusion from the squad due to injury puts many question marks on the hosts. However, the Aussies are a pretty deadly team at home and have the caliber of standing once again after been given a brutal hammering.
