The rivalry between England and Australia has always been fierce and both the sides will finally be seen against each other on September 11, Wednesday, as the two teams will be playing T20I series. In the reverse fixture, which was in the group stages of the T20 World Cup, Australia convincingly defeated England.
The captain Jos Buttler of England will not feature in the series as he has been ruled out due to a calf injury. It will be Buttler’s absence that sees Phil Salt take over the responsibility of leading his team in this series against Australia, a confident Australian team after their domination against Scotland with a 3-0 series sweep. With different players for Australia rising to the occasion in that series, they will be looking at repeating the same against England.
