Who Will Team India Face In The T20 World Cup Semis?

Both England and South Africa have already booked their spots in the final four of the tournament and are waiting to see their semi-final opponents as Team India takes on Australia to decide who will take the top spot in the table.

The match between both the teams carries a lot of historic elements as well as the Men in Blue look to avenge their ODI World Cup 2023 final defeat which left the nation disappointed at home.

If India defeats Australia on June 24, Rohit Sharma’s team will secure the top spot in Group 1. This would set up another rivalry match against Jos Buttler’s England in Guyana on June 27.

However, if Australia wins this crucial match and also manages to surpass India in net run rate, then Rohit Sharma’s side might finish second in Group 1, provided Afghanistan doesn’t achieve a significant victory over Bangladesh. In this scenario, India would face the Group 2 leaders, South Africa, on June 27 in Trinidad and Tobago.
