Nissanka had earlier scored a brilliant half-century in the first innings. He scored a total of 64 runs in 51 balls with 9 fours. Nissanka was awarded the Player of the Match for this historic innings.

The special thing is that this is only the second Test century of Pathum Nissanka’s career. He has set a record with the second century of his career. This 26-year-old talented batsman has played only 11 Tests in his career. This is also the highest score of his Test career.
