Australian duo of Nathan Lyon and Scott Boland put up an unbeaten partnership of 55 runs off 110 balls for the tenth wicket on Day 4 of the IND vs AUS 4th Test. At one end Lyon is unbeaten at a score of 41 runs from 54 balls whereas Boland is fighting hard as well and has played 65 balls for his score of 10 runs. The Indian bowlers looked frustrated after they weren’t able to remove the last Australian pair. Luck also favoured the Australian team on Day 4 of the Boxing Day Test as the Indian side dropped plenty of catches whereas the ball didn’t hit the stumps and got missed by the barest of margins.

One such incident took place on the second ball of the final over on Day 4. Nathan Lyon edged the ball off Jasprit Bumrah and KL Rahul took a brilliant catch that involved his legs and hands. As the Indian players were celebrating the wicket, their joy was short-lived. The reason behind the same was a no-ball as pacer Bumrah had overstepped. The umpire signaled the no-ball and the ace Indian bowler was completely shaken and distraught by the incident.

The Australian team was 91/6 at one stage and it looked like they would get wrapped up quickly in the second innings. However, Marnus Labuschagne along with the lower order batters showcased brilliant resistance and in the present time are favourites to win the match. However, the Indian team still has a chance of taking the game away and end up on the winning side, though it won’t be easy for them to chase down over 300 runs on Day 5.
