Duleep Trophy 2024: Many Indian players are participating in this tournament. So far, many players have impressed a lot in the match being played from September 5. Participating from India D’s side, a bowler made a deep impression by performing brilliantly. Now it is believed that this bowler can get a chance in place of Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami in the 2-Test match series against Bangladesh.

Harshit Rana On Cards

While participating for India D in the Duleep Trophy 2024, Harshit Rana troubled the batsmen of India C by bowling brilliantly. Harshit bowled economically in his 4-over spell and took the wickets of 4 batters. His fast bowling and swing made the opposing batters kneel. Now it is believed that Harshik may get a chance in the Indian squad in the Test series against Bangladesh starting on 19 September.

Rana also performed brilliantly for KKR in IPL 2024. He took 19 wickets in 13 matches played, after which Harshit got a chance in the 5-match T20 series played against Zimbabwe. But he did not get a chance in the final eleven.

Doubt over Shami-Bumrah

Mohammed Shami, who has been injured since the World Cup 2023, is waiting to return to Team India. Shami is not fully fit yet. In such a situation, if reports are to be believed, the fast bowler may be out of the Test series against Bangladesh. His rehab is going on continuously at the NCA.

On the other hand, Jasprit Bumrah can also take rest from the upcoming Test series. Bumrah can be seen in the series against New Zealand. Actually, the management would not want to take any risk of injury by playing Bumrah in the domestic series.
