Manav Suthar’s Stellar 7-Wicket Haul
Even though there was a slow start in the first innings it paved way to a magnificent seven-wicket haul in the second, as Manav Suthar made sure India C won the encounter by four wickets with a day to spare.
The 22-year-old made an almost immediate impact in ripping out India D’s middle order and tail-enders as he showcased his quick bowling abilities in Indian conditions. His big wickets included that of established batters, such as Devdutt Padikkal and Ricky Bhui. And Suthar then contributed 19 runs off 43 balls, including two boundaries and a six, in the final innings, scoring the winning runs in the 61st over to seal the match and earn six points for his team.

Suthar’s graph has catapulted him as an exciting prospect for India’s future plans, and going by the way he has been performing in the domestic circuit, he seems to be one of the frontline spinners for the country. India C will now take on India B in Anantapur in what can be called more spinner-friendly conditions. Having already managed six points, the Ruturaj Gaikwad-led squad will be eyeing a win once more to strengthen their possibility of a final birth which will give them a realistic chance of claiming this tournament’s title.
