All participants showcased exceptional work in their chaotic match while keeping the audience completely engaged. Mysterio surprised all spectators when he became the winner of the match while capturing the title. Dominik Mysterio achieved his first singles championship victory in the main roster during this historic moment. Pinning his friend Finn Bálor for the match victory sealed the end of their friendship during that match. The Judgment Day faction had both individuals as its members at that time.

What Happened in the Intercontinental Championship Match?
The match started with Bron Breakker launching hard-hitting spears against his opponents. A collaboration occurred between Finn Bálor and Dominik Mysterio during their rivalry. Dominik ended the alliance with Bálor while he tried to perform a 619 on him. That was the turning point. Penta prepared to claim victory before Carlito removed him from the ring through interference. Breakker struck Carlito with a fatal spear while both stood on the announce table outside the ring. The match continued as Bálor applied the Coup de Grace on Breakker before he tried a pin but Dominik halted the count with an impressive top-rope splash. Following a long fight Bálor got pinned down by Dominik who secured victory for himself and the title win.
Judgment Day seems to be disintegrating at present
The match started when Dominik Mysterio assaulted Finn Bálor first and Bálor chose to respond with an overwhelming beating. This tension revealed itself because unresolved issues between them had persisted for some time. The agreement between members of Judgment Day has become irreparably strained. Carlito maintains his support for Mysterio, the leader of Judgment Day. Bálor is so disturbed about this that he appears likely to demand a championship rematch against Intercontinental Champion Dominik.
