In a recent interview on Busted Open Radio, Dominik Mysterio was asked whether he spoke to his father, Rey Mysterio, after the match at WrestleMania 41. Dominik responded, “I didn’t, actually. The funny thing is, I was doing my thing. When I went into the crowd to celebrate for the second time and raised my hand, I looked around and saw my mother. And I did something no one expected, I threw the title directly at her face. Nobody would’ve thought I could do that.”

His comments have sparked outrage among fans and further reinforced his heel persona.

Dominik Mysterio Defended His Title on RAW

On the first episode of RAW following WrestleMania 41, Dominik Mysterio defended his Intercontinental Championship against Penta. The match was competitive, with Carlito and Finn Bálor supporting Dominik at ringside. At one point, it seemed like Penta might win, but JD McDonagh interfered, pushing Penta off the top rope. Dominik took advantage of the distraction to retain his title.
