Virat Kohli’s Test Stats

Virat amassed with 9230 runs in 123 Test matches with 30 hundreds to his name with the highest score 254* which he scored against South Africa in 2019.

Why BCCI stopped Kohli?

As per Indian Express report, the Indian legend wanted to retire the same day as his teammate, Rohit Sharma. Rohit retired from Tests on May 7, and Kohli wanted to follow the footsteps, but he was advised by BCCI to delay the announcement as “Operation Sindoor”, the military conflicts with Pakistan was underway.

Also, the desire to spend more time with his family was one of the main reason why Kohli wanted to retire from the format.
