WPL 2026 Delhi Capitals Full Squad List: The Women’s Premier League (WPL) wrapped up its much-anticipated mega auction on Thursday, November 27, marking only the second major reshuffle in the league’s history after the inaugural 2023 season. With three successful seasons behind it, the league entered a new chapter as all five franchises refreshed their squads.
Ahead of the auction, each team had the option to retain up to five players. Delhi Capitals – three-time finalists and two-time champions Mumbai Indians both maxed out their retention slots. Royal Challengers Bengaluru, the 2024 champions, held on to four players, while Gujarat Giants and UP Warriorz went in with the leanest cores, retaining just two and one player respectively.

Delhi Capitals Women wrapped up the WPL 2026 Mega Auction with a well-balanced squad, smart budgeting, and a clear focus on strengthening their core. With a total purse of Rs 15 crore, the franchise spent Rs 9.30 crore on retentions ahead of the auction, leaving themselves enough room to operate strategically during the bidding war.
At the end of the day, DC invested Rs 5.70 crore in new signings, taking their squad tally to 16 out of the allowed 18 players. The team now features 10 Indian players and a full quota of 6 overseas stars, ensuring the right mix of stability, experience, and match-winning flair. The Capitals look well-equipped and balanced as they head into the 2026 WPL season, aiming once again for a strong title push.
