CWG 2022 Wrestling Finals LIVE: Here are the details

Pooja Gehlot wins bronze medal

India wrestler Pooja Gehlot has won the bronze medal after defeating Christelle Lemofack from Scotland by 12-2. Gehlot won the game in the category of Women’s Freestyle 50kg.

Earlier, Gehlot became the only second Indian woman wrestler along with her sister Geeta Phogat to win a medal at U23 World Wrestling Championships in 2019.

Ravi Kumar Dahiya wins GOLD medal

India star wrestler Ravi Dahiya has added another GOLD medal in the bag of wrestling medals after defeating Ebikewenimo Welson from Nigeria by 10-0.

Ravi won a silver medal in 2020 Tokyo Olympic and he has won a bronze medal in the 2019 Nur-Sultan. The 24-year-old has been winning gold medal for last three years in Asian Championships.

Vinesh Phogat wins GOLD medal

India wrestler Vinesh Phogat has won another GOLD for India in wrestling as she win against Chamodya Keshani from Sri Lanka by 4-0 VFA.

The 27-year-old Indian wrestler has a very decorated past in the CWG as she has been winning gold medal for two consecutive years. Along with that, Phogat has won 8 medals in Asian Championships.

Naveen wins GOLD medal, thrashes Pakistan

India wrestler Naveen has won a gold medal after thrashing Pakistan player Mohammad Sharif Tahir in the final bout. The Indian finished on top of the podium of Freestyle 74kg category.

Pooja Sihag wins bronze

India wrestler Pooja Sihag has won her bronze medal match against Naomi de Bruine from Australia. This is first time Sihag is participating in the Commonwealth Games and she has worked hard to go back home with a medal in hands.

Deepak Nehra bags bronze medal

India 12th wrestler Deepak Nehra will also be going back home with a medal in his neck as he thrashed Pakistan in bronze medal match. Nehra had the podium finish against Pakistan player Tayab Raza.
