Birmingham: India table tennis star Sharath Kamal Achanta has won third gold medal of the day in the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2022.
Achanta defeated English player Liam Pitchford and got himself the well deserving gold in the game.
This is third gold medal for the Indian star player as he has already finished as top player in other two events. In the men’s team and the mixed doubles, Achanta has already registered gold medal.
Earlier in the day, Sathiyan Gnanasekaran won the bronze medal.
The Indian star defeated English player Paul Drinkhall to clinch the medal of his side. This is the first medal for the 29-year-old in the men’s singles category of Commonwealth Games.
