Birmingham: India athlete Avinash Sable has won silver medal in the 3000m Steeplechase event of the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2022.
Sable created a Personal Best record by finishing the race in 8:11.20 minutes on Saturday.

Avinash Sable finished fifth at the Diamond League Meet, which has participation by invitation only, and clocked 8:12.48 to reduce more than three seconds from his previous national record of 8:16.21s.
The 27-year-old soldier from the Mahar regiment, finished 11th in the15 men’s 3000m steeplechase final at the World Athletics Championship 2022. The multiple national record holder is another gold medal hope for India.
