The 5-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) who are on the brink of elimination from the IPL 2025 playoff race, will host Sunrisers Hyderabad at their home ground. CSK suffered a heavy defeat by 9 wickets against the Mumbai Indians in their previous match. Similarly, Sunrisers Hyderabad were also outplayed by MI, losing by 7 wickets.

In CSK’s last outing, Ravindra Jadeja played a fighting knock, scoring 53 runs off 35 balls. Shivam Dube also contributed well with the bat. On the other hand, SRH’s batting lineup collapsed badly in their last match.
