The official X (formerly Twitter) handle of YSRCP also posted a video of the event featuring Ambati Rayudu’s induction into the party.
Following the culmination of the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) season, Ambati Rayudu announced his retirement from all formats of cricket. Rayudu had a significant cricketing career, having represented Andhra Pradesh and Hyderabad in domestic cricket.
Rayudu’s last appearance in cricket was when he won the IPL 2023 season with MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings after beating Gujarat Titans in the final. Rayudu had announced that last year’s domestic season will be his final season.
Rayudu has had an on and off relationship with BCI selectors which saw him not getting enough game time for the Men in Blue.
