In a dreadful event a young man, Imran Sikandar Patel collapsed while walking out of the ground during a match between Lucky Builders and Young XI at Garware Cricket Stadium in the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, district of Maharashtra on Wednesday. He was immediately taken to the hospital but the doctor declared him dead upon arrival.

A match was underway between the Lucky Builders And Developers and Young XI at the Garware Cricket Stadium. Patel, captain of the Lucky team, hit two dignified fours in the sixth over. Patel had entered the pitch at Garware Stadium opening batsman for the league match. After a few overs, he complained to the umpires of pain in his left arm and chest. The match was streaming live and thus this event was noticed.
“He did not have any medical history and was instead in a good physical state he was a good all-rounder and loved the game“, one of the team players Naseer Khan told.
His death was similar to that of Habib Sheikh, a cricketer who also died while playing on 7 September, Pune. Although Sheikh was diabetic, his demise was also shocking. Patel had a wife and three daughters, the youngest being four months old.
