Yuzvendra Chahal-Dhanashree Verma Officially Divorced: Lawyer Gives BIG Statement

Yuzvendra Chahal and his family have chosen not to respond to media reports, asking people to refrain from any speculation.

India’s cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal has come to an agreement for a divorce with actor and choreographer Dhanashree Verma. The divorce petition was presented to the court with mutual consent, and the case is under consideration by the Bandra court in Mumbai, Chahal’s lawyer said. The couple has sought privacy, and it is not allowed to discuss the case in public.

Chahal and his family have chosen not to respond to media reports, asking people to refrain from any speculation. The pair, who got married in December 2020, were extremely popular on social media, always appearing together in Instagram reels. Fans had always been a fan of their chemistry.

“Mr. Chahal reached a settlement for obtaining Divorce by Mutual Consent with Mrs. Verma. A Petition for Divorce by mutual consent was presented before the Hon’ble Family Court, Bandra. The matter is currently sub-judice,” Chahal’s lawyer Nitin K Gupta said in an official statement to Hindustan Times.

“Further steps are being taken as per law in this regard. Mr Chahal and his family respectfully choose not to comment on the details circulating in media and request all to refrain from any kind of speculation,” he added.
