New Delhi: What a night for right-arm fast-medium English pacer Issy Wong as she registered her name in the Women’s Premier League’s history book. She claimed the first-ever hat-trick in inaugurall Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023.

She first removed Kiran Navgire on a full toss round off delivery. Navgire clattered it straight to Sciver-Brunt at deep mid wicket boundary for a catch. Wong scalped her second wicket in a row as Simram Shaikh failed to connect the ball with bat and hits to the stumps. Wong removed Sophie Ecclestone on her hat-trick delivery.
