The defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have upgraded their mix-and-match combination by adding an Australian duo, Heather Graham and Kim Garth, in lieu of Sophie Devine and Kate Cross. Devine was absent from the game, and Cross had been ruled out with a back injury since December. Both replacements come at an INR 30 lakh price tag for the franchise.
Heather Graham: 28-year old, is an older stalwart player from Australia was a part of Mumbai Indians in past but she is yet to feature in a WPL match. Graham is a well-known performer on home turf domestic leagues for Australia, Hobart Hurricanes and Perth Scorchers for WBBL T20. She has just played 5 T20Is and only 1 ODI.

Kim Garth: A bowling all-rounder, Garth has played for Gujarat Giants (GG) in previous WPL seasons. She played a pivotal role in Australia’s recent Ashes series, claiming nine wickets across formats. Garth has played 59 T20Is, where she has taken 49 wickets and has also scored 764 runs. Charlie Dean Replaces
Charlie Dean: The other new signing includes Charlie Dean, the talented spinner from England. This is following an injury that befell Australia’s Sophie Molineux, which has paved way for Dean’s inclusion into the team in defense of the WPL title.
The 3rd edition of Women’s Premier League will be beginning from February 14 with the first match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Gujarat Giants in Vadodara.
