New Delhi: The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the names of umpires and match referees for the World Cup 2023. The Tournament, starting from October 5, will be held in India starting from October 5 in India.
Two Indian veterans, one on the Umpires list and the other on the Referees list will be playing a vital role in conducting matches. ICC will include 16 umpires and four match referees for the World Cup.

In the list of match referees and umpires released by ICC, Nitin Menon has been included in the list of umpires from India. Team India’s former veteran bowler Javagal Srinath has been included in the list of match referees. Sri Lanka’s Kumar Dharmasena and Nitin Menon will officiate in the first match against India and Australia.

Javagal Srinath, Richie Richardson, Andy Pycroft, and Jeff Crowe will perform the responsibility of match refereeing.
A total of 10 teams are participating in the ODI World Cup, out of which 5 countries have announced their Squads including India, Australia, South Africa, England, and Netherlands.
