IPL Mega Auction: On Friday, November 15, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) released the finalized list of players who will be available for the IPL 2025 mega-auction. Originally, the BCCI had published a list of 1574 players, but this has now been shortened to 574 players. The countdown to the much-awaited auction, scheduled for November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, is officially on, and fans are eagerly anticipating the event.

IPL 2025 Auction: Live Streaming Details

With the excitement building, the BCCI has officially announced when and where fans can catch the live broadcast of the IPL 2025 mega-auction. The auction will begin on Sunday, November 24, with live-streaming set to kick off at 3:00 PM IST and 12:30 PM local time in Jeddah.

Interestingly, the auction will start later than usual this year, as it will overlap with the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which starts on November 22 in Perth. To avoid any broadcasting clashes, the BCCI has scheduled the auction to begin at 3:00 PM IST, following the conclusion of Day 3 of the first Test match between India and Australia.

Revised Auction List: Indian And Overseas Players

The final IPL 2025 auction list includes 574 players, with 366 Indian players and 208 overseas players, including 3 from associate nations. The list also features 318 uncapped Indian players and 12 uncapped overseas players.

In total, 204 players will be bought by the IPL franchises, and the minimum base price for players has been set at 30 lakhs, with the highest base price at 2 crores. This year’s auction promises to offer a lot of talent, with a mix of seasoned international stars and promising uncapped players.

Youngest And Oldest Players In The IPL 2025 Auction

Among the 574 players, the youngest player on the list is 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who will be the youngest ever to go under the hammer at an IPL auction. On the flip side, the oldest player is 42-year-old James Anderson, the veteran England pacer, who will also be hoping to attract bids in the auction.
