Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar’s son, Arjun Tendulkar, is now engaged. The 25-year-old cricketer celebrated the moment in private with close family and friends as he got engaged to Saaniya Chandhok.
Who Is Saaniya Chandhok?
Arjun’s fiancée, Saaniya Chandok, is the Designated Partner and Director at Mr. Paws Pet Spa & Store LLP, an Indian company based in Mumbai dealing in pet food and well-being. She is also the founder of the firm, according to a revelation in one of the firm’s Instagram posts. Saaniya is a scholar from the London School of Economics and also holds a Veterinary Technician diploma from the Worldwide Veterinary Service, achieved towards the end of 2024.
Prominent Family Background
Saaniya hails from a well-established Mumbai business family. She is the grand-daughter of Ravi Ghai, chairman of the Graviss Group – a prominent name in the city’s hospitality and F&B industry. The group’s businesses are Kwality ice cream, the Brooklyn Creamery, and the InterContinental Hotel on Marine Drive. The family has also made it to the headlines recently in connection with a reported ownership dispute over the hotel.

Bond With The Tendulkars
Saaniya’s bond with the Tendulkar has been a known factor previously. Social media observers caught her with Arjun’s sister Sara Tendulkar on a visit to Jaipur earlier this year and at several IPL matches of the last two seasons.

As per their shared desire to keep things low-key, Arjun and Saaniya followed a low-key engagement ceremony with neither family issuing public announcements.

Arjun Tendulkar is a left-arm fast-medium bowler, he now plays for Goa in domestic cricket and has played for Mumbai Indians in the IPL, appearing in five matches in the 2023 and 2024 seasons. In his 17 First Class matches, Arjun Tendulkar has scored 532 runs which includes one century and he has also picked up 37 wickets.
