Milind Kumar showed remarkable form at the ICC academy as he once again played a crucial role in guiding his team to another convincing win against UAE. USA posted a total of 292 for 3 which was only possible because of Milind Kumar and Saiteja Mukkamalla who wrecked havoc on field and scored centuries. Milind remained unbeaten on 137 while Saiteja scored 123 not out. The duo stitched a spectacular 264-runs stand which is also now the second highest for fourth wicket in the history of ODIs.
Milind Kumar was a standout performer as he now has an ODI average of 67.73 from 22 matches – which is highest among the players with a minimum of 1000 runs. He has now surpassed Ryan ten Doeschate who amassed 1541 runs with an average of 67.00.
