The IPL 2025 has concluded on a high-note with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) winning the prestigious trophy. In the final against Punjab Kings at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, RCB won by 6 runs and clinched their maiden IPL title. But one thing that caught the eye of public was appearance of Anushka Sharma with Malvika Nayak during IPL matches. Earlier fans were left guessing with the question “Who is the woman next to Anushka Sharma” following which it was discovered that it was none other than the wife of RCB marketing head Nikhil Sosale.
Who Is Malvika Nayak?
Nikhil Sosale is married to Malvika Nayak, who, similar to her husband, also has a business development and marketing background. Malvika is an MBA marketing and sales graduate and had earlier worked at Intelenet (Serco). The duo is seen to move around the cricket social circle, and Malvika has also frequently been photographed with actress Anushka Sharma at RCB matches.

Nikhil Sosale Arrested
On June 6, police arrested Nikhil Sosale, RCB’s marketing head at Kempegowda International Airport as they were travelling to Mumbai as reported by India Today. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah ordered the arrest of RCB officials, officials from DNA Entertainment, and officials from the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) on immediate orders for a clear case of negligence and inadequate crowd control. FIR has also been lodged formally in the matter.
