The Indian Premier League (IPL) auction is likely to be held in the second or third week of December. The tentative dates which have been reported by Cricbuzz are December 13 and 15. There is still no official confirmation from the IPL Governing Council.

Although according to multiple reports indicate that BCCI might still opt to hold the event in India. The retention deadline is expected to fall on November 15.
