The ICC Hall of Fame is one of the highest honors a cricketer can ever receive. It was launched in 2009 by the International Cricket Council (ICC) in partnership with the Federation of International Cricketers (FICA). This was given to celebrate the legends of the sport and the players who have made their valuable contribution through their performance and leadership.
To be eligible, a player has to be retired for five or more years and has to have proven to be exceptionally skilled, upright, and impactful in the game. The Hall of Fame is not only an honor, but also a lasting tribute to legends who have made history in cricket.

MS Dhoni Joins ICC Hall of Fame
The newest member of ICC Hall of Fame from India is MS Dhoni, the recognition is for his exceptional 14-year international career. Dhoni remains the only captain in cricket history to have won all three major white-ball titles that is – T20 World Cup (2007), ODI World Cup (2011) and Champions Trophy (2013). He has gained immense success as both India’s player and a captain.
