Sydney: Pakistan bowler Shaheed Shah Afridi has started the semi-final against New Zealand with dominance as he struck in the very first over of the game. The pace of the ball by Shaheen Afridi confused New Zealand batter Finn Allen confused and he tried to attempt a shot but he straight went to the stumps.

After winning the toss, Kane Williamson had announced that he will choose to bat first and will play with same team. “We are gonna have a bat. Used surface. We’ve got the same team. It’s important we assess to the changing conditions quickly. Our focus is on this game.” However, their decision is not proving to be very fruitful. Finn Allen departed for 4 runs while Devon Conway has gone back for 21 runs.
