Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya earned huge praise for his heart-winning gesture after he unintentionally hit a cameraman with his powerful six in the fifth T20I against South Africa in Ahmedabad on Friday. Pandya was exceptional in the match as he smashed 63 runs and took India towards huge total of 231 runs.
But one moment that gained attention was – as soon as Hardik Pandya entered he smashed a six which directly went and hit the camerman. The match came to a brief halt and the cameraperson received medical assistance but he soon recovered and was able to continue with his duties. After the match concluded, Pandya himself went to check on him and ensured he is alright.

India produced a dominant performance and sealed the series win by 3-1 – all possible due to half-centuries from Tilak Varma and Hardik Pandya and four-wicket haul by Varun Chakaravarthy. The Men in Blue registered a convincing 30 runs win and Pandya was the star of the match – he opened his innings explosively with a six and smashed a half-century in just 16 balls.

South Africa started very strongly and built huge pressure on India but Varun Chakarvarthy and Jasprit Bumrah brought in crucial breakthroughs to turn the match back in India’s favour.
