Melbourne: Ireland has been the luckiest on Wednesday as they make win against one of the finest cricket teams, England. It was a dream win for the team however, weather had a lot to do with Ireland’s win.
One of the best moments of the game was when Fionn Hand clinched major wicket of Ben Stokes and it left the English player stunned in Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Ireland win by 5 runs through DLS method
After put to bat first, Ireland was bowled out for 157 runs in 19.2 overs. Captain Balbirnie contributed the maximum of 62 runs in the teams total. When English side came to bat on the field, Joshua Little brought relief for Ireland. Little dismissed captain Jos Buttler for zero and it turned the momentum towards their side.
After Alex Hales was dismissed by Little for 7 runs. When things started to look stable for England, Fionn Hand gave another shock as he sent back Ben Stokes for 6 runs.
Dawid Malan had made 35 runs while Harry Brook garnered 18 runs. Moeen Ali contributes with 24 runs but it wasn’t enough to win the game.
When the game was in 15th over, management decided to find a winner through DLS method as there was heavy rain.
