Whether it is being an active fan who goes and watches their favourite cricketers playing ground or passive ones who love to enjoy from the comfort of their home, the excitement level is always high.
However, this highly charged excitement and passion can lead to some wrongdoings. One incident of such type has been revealed in Tamil Nadu where a fan of Virat Kohli killed his friend who debated that Rohit Sharma is a better cricketer.

Friends fight over who is better, Rohit or Virat?
As per police reports, 21-year-old boy was arrested for stabbing his friend to death after their debate on who is better cricketer between Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli turned into a brawl.
Keelapalur police reported that Vignesh lost his life as he was a big fan of Rohit Sharma and he was debating with his friend that the current is better than the former one.
Both had consumed liquor. As per the initial investigation, Vignesh was supporting Mumbai Indians in Indian Premier League (IPL) while Dharmaraj was a Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) supporter,” police said.

“During the course of their debate, Vignesh had allegedly mocked RCB and Virat Kohli. Vignesh had the habit of body shaming Dharmaraj, who was a stammerer. On that day he had made some remarks comparing the RCB team to the speaking difficulty of Dharmaraj. This infuriated Dharmaraj who attacked Vignesh with a bottle and later hit him with a cricket bat on the head. Dharmaraj soon fled the spot,” officials said.
