In one of the thrilling encounters of the Uttarakhand Premier League 2025, The Dehradun Warriors defeated Pitoragarh Hurricanes by 10 wickets. The Warriors completey crushed the Hurricanes and their captain Yuvraj Chaudhary was the star of the match.
Batting first, Pithoragarh Hurricanes could only score 120 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. Wicketkeeper Vaibhav Bhatt scored the highest 36 runs, and no other batsman was able to even reach the 30-run mark. For Dehradun Warriors, Mayank Mishra, Naveen Kumar Singh, and Raksheet Rohi took 2 wickets each, putting pressure on the opposing batters throughout the innings.
Pursuing a target of 121 runs, Yuvraj Chaudhary scored a scorching unbeaten 86 runs off only 41 deliveries, including 4 fours and 9 sixes, at a mind-boggling strike rate of 209.8. He was supported by Sanskar Rawat, who added 25 runs, as the Dehradun Warriors achieved the target without losing a single wicket.
Yuvraj Chaudhary also played the unique role of scoring four consecutive sixes in four balls, increasing the drama. This was Dehradun Warriors’ second victory in the tournament, which pushed them to the second position on the points table.
