How did Dehradun Warriors play in their two matches?
Dehradun Warriors played their first match of UPL 2025 against USN Indians. Yuvraj Chaudhary and his team went on to bat first and scored a total of 163 runs. In response, USN Indians could not chase it down and were bowled out at 146 runs. Dehradun won by 16 runs as they beat last season’s UPL champions in the very first match.
Warriors’ second match was on September 28, 2025, vs Haridwar Spring Elmas. Haridwar batted first and scored 190 runs. The Warriors chased a massive total. They lost some early wickets while trying to chase a large score. But Yuvraj and the team didn’t lose heart and fought hard but somehow lost. They managed to score only 118 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 72 runs.
Though the team lost, the Dehradun Warriors are a tough team and are likely to bounce back with a vengeance in the next matches.
