Dehradun Warriors played against Pithoragarh Hurricanes and defeated them by 10 wickets. The Warriors wrecked havoc on field as the bowlers restricted Hurricanes at a mere target of 120 runs. The top bowlers were Mayank Mishra, Naveen Kumar Singh and Rakshit Rohi who picked 2 wickets each.
The Warriors chased the target easily in 9.5 overs, with Yuvraj Chaudhary scoring 86 runs and Sanskar Ramesh Rawat scoring 25 runs. The match was completely one sided and Yuvraj single-handedly won it.
With this win, Dehradun Warriors have moved to second position with a net run rate of +1.634.

Earlier in an exclusive interview with News24, when asked about the biggest X-factor of Warriors team, coach Manish Jha names two players who stand out. He said: “For our team, Yuvraj Chaudhary and Devendra Bora stand out. Devendra had a great last season and was part of the India U-23 camp. Sanskar Rawat performed really well last season. We also have Naveen Singh, who has been a net bowler for Rajasthan Royals over the last two seasons. These players bring top-level experience and can guide the younger members of the squad during crunch situations.”
