Coming to the match, Rashid Khan dominated the evening and made an impactful return in competitive cricket. He delivered a game-changing spell and claimed 3 wickets for just 11 runs. Khan completely dismantled the Spirit’s middle order and flipped the match in his favour.

Sam Curran supported him magnificently with 3/18, as London Spirit fell to a disappointing score of 80 all out. Even though there were global stars such as David Warner and Kane Williamson in the side, the Spirit’s batting effort lacked coherence and solidity. Ashton Turner topscored with a modest 21, but the innings never really picked up any genuine momentum.

Pursuing a modest target, the Invincibles used a calm and measured strategy. Will Jacks and Tawanda Muyeye added a handy 34-run partnership from 32 balls, setting the platform. Although some wickets were lost, the result never appeared in jeopardy, as the Invincibles completed a six-wicket victory with 14 balls to spare.
