The top priority for India was to restrict the scoring to 270 and dismiss the batters. This was made possible due to the brilliant four-wicket hauls of Prasidh Krishna and Kuldeep Yadav. In the course of the chase, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma put together a magnificent opening stand of 135 runs, followed by Kohli’s quickfire 65 off 45 balls. The star batter then hilariously roasted Arshdeep on camera, much to the delight of the fans who were left in splits.

Kohli replies back with a savage dew joke

“Paaji, run kam rehgaye, century aaj pakki thi waise (Brother, the target wasn’t big enough, otherwise a century seemed certain),” he said.
