Legendary Actor, Amitabh Bachchan was jubilant over Team India’s dominant win by 295 runs in the first Test of the five-match series against Australia at Perth’s Optus Stadium on Monday. India, under skipper Jasprit Bumrah, batted superbly, and then bowled well to knock over Australia for 238 in their second innings while successfully defending a massive target of 534.

The famous actor, who was an ardent cricket enthusiast, expressed his views through his Tumblr blog regarding the match. He further complained about the “biased commentary” he believed occurred in the game but did not name any particular commentators.

“Bias commentary के बावजूद, ठोक दिया Australia को cricket में (Despite the bias in commentary, Team India thrashed Australia in cricket),” he wrote.

Interestingly, Sanjay Manjrekar was severely trolled online for suggesting that India’s medium pacers had been underestimated during the Perth Test. Bumrah took eight wickets and Siraj and Washington Sundar each three. Harish Rana got the last wicket to seal the victory. In batting, Virat Kohli and Yashasvi Jaiswal scored hundreds in the second innings and put India firmly in control.
