Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah’s family was involved in a recent incident where his family was attacked in Lower Dir. According to reports, an unidentified person who was carrying a gun open fired at the the gate of Naseem Shah’s house.
The attackers fled the crime scene immediately after they fired shots at his home. Since then the local police has launched strict investigation but it still remains unclear who was there in the residence when the attack happened. The incident happened early morning on Monday and as per Dawn, Naseem’s father met the officials and he has been assured that the person responsible will surely be apprehended.

It is also uncertain whether any of Naseem’s younger brothers Hunain and Ubaid, both professional cricketers were at the residence during the incident. According to ESPNCricinfo, the shocking incident has not disrupted Naseem Shah’s cricketing schedule and he will still remain with the national team for upcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi.

Pakistan and Sri Lanka are all set to play three-match series which will be starting from November 11, Tuesday. Following this, a T20I tri-series will be played later this month that will also feature Zimbabwe and Naseem Shah has been included in both the squads.
