India T20 World Cup 2026 Schedule: The Indian team will finally announce the squad for T20 World Cup which will be starting from February 7, 2026. Ajit Agarkar and Suryakumar Yadav will be there for a meeting at BCCI headquarters after which they will address the media. The India squad for T20I series against New Zealand will also be announced.

India to kick off their campaign on February 7 against the USA in Mumbai, followed by their second group match against Namibia on February 12 in Delhi. The Men in Blue will wrap up the group stage against Netherlands on February 18 in Ahmedabad.
India emerged as champions of T20 World Cup after defeating South Africa by 7 runs and lifted the iconic trophy. Following which India’s star batters Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja announced their retirement from T20Is.

Following India’s T20I in Ahmedabad on Friday, Suryakumar Yadav had to travel to attend the selection meeting. However, reports suggest that a delay in his flight could lead to a brief postponement of the press conference.
India will play against Pakistan on February 15 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Chief selector Ajit Agarkar reached the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) headquarters on Saturday ahead of the announcement of India’s squads for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 and the T20I series against New Zealand scheduled for January next year.
