New Delhi: The T20 World Cup 2022 is half-way through. Many of the team in Super 12 have played 2 or 3 games each and making their position strong the semi-finals of the tournament.

Rail in however playing spoilsport in the tournament as it has caused washing out of many games so far. Today, both the games were washed out in rain and all four teams shared one point each.

Afghanistan was set to fight against Ireland in first game of the day. While England had to face Australia but heaven ended the hopes of thrilling game.

This has affected the points table and Australia is currently pushed on fourth number in its Group.

Points Table in Group 1

Rain has played spoilsport in four games so far causing them to be washed out either completely or partially. After the game between England and Australia ends in no result, both the team are now has 3 points.

However, England has much higher run rate than the hosts and currently stands at second position in the table. Four teams are tied at 3 points but New Zealand has played one less game than other.

Australia has 2 more games left and if they win both, that will still not be enough to go past Kiwis, given they continue their winning streak. New Zealand and England are looking favorites to qualify for semi-finals

Points Table in Group 2

India is currently topping the table of Group 2 with 4 points after winning both the games. After that, South Africa and Zimbabwe are tied at 3 points each but the Proteas have much higher NRR in comparison.

Whereas Bangladesh is at fourth position with 2 points after winning one game out of two. While Pakistan and Netherlands have not won any game. They are currently at zero points and are losing the hopes of reaching semi-finals.
