The International Cricket Council (ICC) is set to reveal the T20 World Cup schedule on Tuesday, November 25 and the announcement will be available online and on TV. The T20 World Cup will be hosted by India and Sri Lanka in February-March 2026 and both India and Pakistan will once again play at a neutral venue – Sri Lanka.
India enter the tournament as defending champions as they defeated South Africa in the last World Cup final to clinch the marquee title. Following this star players – Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja announced their retirement from T20Is. Reports now indicate that BCCI has shortlisted five venues for the tournament: Kolkata, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Chennai, while Sri Lanka is expected to host matches across three venues.
The schedule announcement will also feature former India captain Rohit Sharma, current T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav, women’s team captain Harmanpreet Kaur and Sri Lanka’s legend Angelo Mathews.
