India and Pakistan will be playing against each other in the T20 World Cup which will be held in 2026. The schedule for the tournament will be announced on November 25, Tuesday. Both India and Pakistan played against each other in Asia Cup 2025 where India emerged dominant and thrashed Pakistan three times in the tournament.
According to ESPNCricinfo, the match between India and Pakistan will be held on February 15, 2026 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The T20 World Cup will be hosted by India and Sri Lanka – this means that the matches between India and Pakistan will be played at a neutral venue which is Sri Lanka.

The report further suggests that India will be grouped with Pakistan, Netherlands, Namibia, and the USA. India will be starting its campaign on February 7 against USA in Mumbai. Then the Indian Team will be playing against Namibia on February 12 in Delhi. The group stage will be concluded with match against USA on February 18 in Ahmedabad.
India enter the tournament as defending champions as they defeated South Africa in the last World Cup final to clinch the marquee title. Following this star players – Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja announced their retirement from T20Is. Reports now indicate that BCCI has shortlisted five venues for the tournament: Kolkata, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Chennai, while Sri Lanka is expected to host matches across three venues.
