Suresh Raina, one of the most successful players of the Indian Premier League is all set to return to the cricket field once again. Chennai Super Kings batting icon may entertain the Sri Lankan crowd in the upcoming edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL).

Former Indian middle-order batsman Suresh Raina has reportedly signed up for the fourth edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) auction at a base price of USD 50,000. The auction will be held on June 14.
Was seen in Legends Cricket League in 2022
The 36-year-old Raina was last seen in Legends League cricket after announcing his retirement from all forms of cricket in September 2022. He is the first Indian cricketer to score a century in all three formats of the game and played a key role in India’s 2011 World Cup and 2013 Champions Trophy victories.
Raina’s IPL record
Suresh Raina has scored 5500 runs in 205 matches of IPL. He has scored a century in IPL too. Now he is ready to perform in the Lanka Premier League.
According to the BCCI rule, when a player announces his retirement from all forms of competitive domestic cricket, he can play in another country’s league.
