Jasprit Bumrah: In a major Setback for IPL franchise Mumbai Indians, Jasprit Bumrah reportedly will miss the entire IPL 2023 as he has not fully recovered from his back injury. 

Bumrah got injured in his back last year and since then he has been away from the ground. If the news is to be believed, he will miss the Final of the ICC World Test Championship, If India will qualify, which is scheduled in June 2023.

According to a news article published on ESPNcricinfo, The BCCI medical team has advised surgery to get rid completely of his back issues. Though, the BCCI has not issued any official statement yet.

Bumrah was first ruled out from Asia Cup last year as he complained of pain in his back, he made a comeback against Australia in September in the T-20 series then he was again ruled out. 

Since then,  the Indian Star pacer has missed the T-20 World Cup, Newzeland tour, Bangladesh tour and ongoing Border-Gavaskar trophy.

If Bumrah would miss the entire IPL and World Test Championship then it would be a major setback for the Indian Cricket Team and Mumbai Indians as well.
